what SeeWater can do
SeeWater is a new innovative water pitcher for the blind and disabled going through many designs. We have combined mechanical and electronics to let water fill you cup or bottle without any spillage. We have the ability to automatically sense bottles or cups; fill it to the brim with no spillage, and to communicate how much water was filled
bottle sensor
Using a Digital Load cell we constantly check for a change in value, once we see a change we wait a second to make sure it wasn't a fluke and start the water pouring prosses
zero spilage
After sensing the bottle we use two servos to lower down our ultra sense height detector on the rim of the cup or bottle. After the water starts to pour we use a water sensor to automatically stop the flow of water with zero human interaction when the water level reaches the top.
Water calculation
After the water filling prosses has completed using the wight of the bottle or cup we have from the beginning we measure the new weight and with the software in the Arduino it does the math to measure how much water was just poured. Right now it is not implemented but will be soon in future iterations.
